Of course, the event was staged to showcase the new Mango phones - all of which feature front- and rear-facing cameras, powerful processors, bright, colorful screens with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, and are capable of 4G speeds.
Leading the charge is Samsung's 8.55 mm thin Focus , which has a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display boasting a 16 million color palette, a 1.4GHz processor and an 8 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and 4x zoom on its rear, and a 1.3 megapixel at the front. Bodymetrics pods scan customers' bodies to get their clothing measurements

London-based Bodymetrics and 3D machine vision company PrimeSense have developed a full 3D body scanner that is designed to make finding the perfect pair of jeans a whole lot easier. Its "Body Mapping" platform uses eight PrimeSense 3D sensors to take all of a client's necessary measurements and map their body shape. This data is then accessed by retailers, to find the clothes which best fit that client. Initially the scanner is going to be used by Bodymetrics "Fit Stylists" to suggest the best-fitting jeans for female customers. The next step is to revolutionize the online clothing retail market.
The first Body Mapping scanner is now available at a New Look store in London's Westfield Stratford City shopping mall. The machine quickly and accurately calculates 100 measurements which are then analyzed and used to find suitable garments.
Bodymetrics is not the only company trying to save customers time and aggravation by letting them avoid the hassle of having to parade in and out of changing rooms. Also, contrary to what it says in Bodymetrics' press release, it seems that its is not the only full 3D body scanner out there. A similar technology by Unique Solutions Design Ltd has been on the market for quite a while and is used by such companies as Levi's, Lane Bryant and Fashion Bug. In 2009, Unique Solutions Design Ltd acquired Intellifit Corporation, which developed the body scanning solution we covered back in 2005.
However, Bodymetrics' solution is said to be much cheaper and much easier to set up than previous-generation scanners, as it doesn't include lasers or millimeter wave detectors
If applied broadly, this technology could not only dramatically speed up apparel shopping, but it could also re-shape the clothing retail market as a whole. Of course brick-and-mortar outlets would benefit as well, but it is the online clothing industry that would most likely register a dramatic growth. Currently 20 to 40 percent of all clothes purchased online are returned because they do not fit. If all the customers had their Bodymetrics accounts to fall back on, however, the number of ill-fitting clothes would most likely drop.
"The body is the last piece of information to go digital," says Suran Goonatilake, CEO of Bodymetrics. "Most of your life is already digital - your friends, your music, your bank account - all accessible on-line, but your body is not. Bodymetrics together with PrimeSense is enabling consumers to store and access all their body information online and link this to retailers."
This is a bold vision (especially the bit about making our bodies available online), but if Body Mapping makes purchasing clothes even a little less of an ordeal, I am all for it. Oh, and even if for some reason full 3D body scanners do not start popping up on every corner, you can always use an online service like Fits.me to enter your measurements manually.

Just start typing with a keyboard in the Start screen to quickly search and launch applications.
Find additional applications (e.g. accessories generally found in the Start menu) can be found in the application list by clicking on the “Search” charm.
New shell keyboard shortcuts:

WIN+Q for application search
WIN+W for settings search
WIN+F for files search
WIN+I for “settings” charm
WIN+O for rotation lock
WIN+C to bring up simple “Start menu” and time/date

Most old shell keyboard shortcuts also work: e.g. WIN+D activates desktop, WIN+R opens “Run”, WIN+L locks user. WIN+E opens Explorer.
In mouse mode, activate the options/charms by moving the mouse to the bottom left edge (where the Windows button used to be).
In mouse mode, right clicking activates in-app options.
With a keyboard, you can use the arrow keys and page up/down to select tiles. Enter launches them. The “menu” button (the key with a drop down) selects them.
Make sure to check the “settings” charm in applications to reveal app-specific settings.
Enable the “high contrast” mode in Control Panel > Ease of Access to see a dark themed Start screen (above)
With multi-touch, zoom out in the app list in “Search” to activate semantic zoom

Hello frnds today i want to explain the difference Between NTFS and FAT.. So Lets start With todays Article..For most users running Windows XP, NTFS is the obvious choice. It’s more powerful and offers security advantages not found in the other file systems. But let’s go over the differences among the files systems so we’re all clear about the choice. There are essentially three different file systems available in Windows XP: FAT16, short for File Allocation Table, FAT32, and NTFS, short for NT File System.

FAT16
The FAT16 file system was introduced way back with MS–DOS in 1981, and it’s showing its age. It was designed originally to handle files on a floppy drive, and has had minor modifications over the years so it can handle hard disks, and even file names longer than the original limitation of 8.3 characters, but it’s still the lowest common denominator. The biggest advantage of FAT16 is that it is compatible across a wide variety of operating systems, including Windows 95/98/Me, OS/2, Linux, and some versions of UNIX. The biggest problem of FAT16 is that it has a fixed maximum number of clusters per partition, so as hard disks get bigger and bigger, the size of each cluster has to get larger. In a 2–GB partition, each cluster is 32 kilobytes, meaning that even the smallest file on the partition will take up 32 KB of space. FAT16 also doesn’t support compression, encryption, or advanced security using access control lists.

FAT32
The FAT32 file system, originally introduced in Windows 95 Service Pack 2, is really just an extension of the original FAT16 file system that provides for a much larger number of clusters per partition. As such, it greatly improves the overall disk utilization when compared to a FAT16 file system. However, FAT32 shares all of the other limitations of FAT16, and adds an important additional limitation—many operating systems that can recognize FAT16 will not work with FAT32—most notably Windows NT, but also Linux and UNIX as well. Now this isn’t a problem if you’re running FAT32 on a Windows XP computer and sharing your drive out to other computers on your network—they don’t need to know (and generally don’t really care) what your underlying file system is.

The Advantages of NTFS
The NTFS file system, introduced with first version of Windows NT, is a completely different file system from FAT. It provides for greatly increased security, file–by–file compression, quotas, and even encryption. It is the default file system for new installations of Windows XP, and if you’re doing an upgrade from a previous version of Windows, you’ll be asked if you want to convert your existing file systems to NTFS. Don’t worry. If you’ve already upgraded to Windows XP and didn’t do the conversion then, it’s not a problem. You can convert FAT16 or FAT32 volumes to NTFS at any point. Just remember that you can’t easily go back to FAT or FAT32 (without reformatting the drive or partition), not that I think you’ll want to.

The NTFS file system is generally not compatible with other operating systems installed on the same computer, nor is it available when you’ve booted a computer from a floppy disk. For this reason, many system administrators, myself included, used to recommend that users format at least a small partition at the beginning of their main hard disk as FAT. This partition provided a place to store emergency recovery tools or special drivers needed for reinstallation, and was a mechanism for digging yourself out of the hole you’d just dug into. But with the enhanced recovery abilities built into Windows XP (more on that in a future column), I don’t think it’s necessary or desirable to create that initial FAT partition.

When to Use FAT or FAT32
If you’re running more than one operating system on a single computer, you will definitely need to format some of your volumes as FAT. Any programs or data that need to be accessed by more than one operating system on that computer should be stored on a FAT16 or possibly FAT32 volume. But keep in mind that you have no security for data on a FAT16 or FAT32 volume—any one with access to the computer can read, change, or even delete any file that is stored on a FAT16 or FAT32 partition. How to convert FAT into NTFS..

To convert a FAT partition to NTFS, perform the following steps.

Click Start, click Programs, and then click Command Prompt.

In Windows XP, click Start, and then click Run.
At the command prompt, type CONVERT [driveletter]: /FS:NTFS.

Convert.exe will attempt to convert the partition to NTFS.
NOTE: Although the chance of corruption or data loss during the conversion from FAT to NTFS is minimal, it is best to perform a full backup of the data on the drive that it is to be converted prior to executing the convert command. It is also recommended to verify the integrity of the backup before proceeding, as well as to run RDISK and update the emergency repair disk (ERD).

The Galaxy S II is the thinnest Android mobile phone in the market. It’s remarkably just 8.5mm in depth, which is just about a shade thinner than Apple’s iPhone. The 4.3-inch Gorilla Glass display manages to keep smudges away, which makes viewing a real treat. The resolution on this, the first ever Super AMOLED Plus display, is 480x800 pixels, which is not nearly as refined as the Retina Display on the iPhone 4 that has it beat hands down.

A couple of touch sensitive keys (return and menu) are placed on either side of the rectangular Home button. Volume/zoom keys are located on the right side while a screen lock/Power button is on the left. It’s a pity that Samsung didn’t incorporate a small shutter release for the camera, but what’s really disappointing is the lack of a hot swap memory card slot. However 16 GB of internal storage should be more than enough. While it ranks high on the design front, being so light and thin and yet so large, it feels a bit plastic-y and delicate. We did drop it (unintentionally) a couple of times and although a couple of locks on the rear popped up, the handset remained unscathed.

Media
The Galaxy S II truly excels in media playback. The music player, although lacking a jazzy gyro-using, Cover-Flow style view, is simple and easy to use with EQ presets and an 8-band customizable setting. It’s loud and clear enough for calls and music to be heard over the commotion in a Mumbai local train, so it passes our acid test. When it comes to video playback, the S II fully supports all formats up to 1080p resolution. There was no delay or lag while accessing or playing files. The S II also comes with a preloaded video editor that’s easy to use. A photo editor is also provided. The handset’s FM radio, in contrast, was a bit average. Reception was just about adequate while commuting.

Interface

Samsung’s all new TouchWiz UI 4.0, although much better looking than past offerings, is a wee bit sluggish. You can now add widgets by opening up a small sliding section at the bottom of the display and dragging whatever you want onto the multiple screens. TouchWiz’s overall functionality is quite well laid out. It allows you to arrange apps in the menus with an edit option. You can also create folders if you wish to be a little more organized. The S II also has gesture-based features like holding down on an app and tilting the handset to move between screens. The double tap for voice commands options was a complete bust as it worked in the trial simulation, but never after that.

The phone book has a Merge with Facebook or Google set up, but that didn’t seem to work. We ultimately had to manually sync contacts. The Galaxy S II on the whole worked like a charm, pushing the dual core 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor and Android Gingerbread (2.3.3) platform very steadily. Accessing data, opening apps, multi-tasking and creating or playing HD videos was fluid and almost lag-free.

Connectivity

The Galaxy S II is a 3G-capable phone capable of handling HSDPA with speeds of 21 Mbps and HSUP up to 5.76 Mbps. EDGE/GPRS functions well too. With Bluetooth 3.0 + HS, USB-on-the-go, Wi-Fi with tethering and Wi-Fi Hot spot creation, the Galaxy S II is well equipped for connectivity. Samsung also offers DLNA support with their All Share app and Samsung Kies for downloading apps wirelessly.

The various Hubs such as Samsung’s Music Hub (which was inaccessible), Readers Hub for getting e-books, magazine and newspaper subscriptions, Game Hub and Social Hub (showcases all social networking accounts into one place) are now part of TouchWiz UI 4.0’s make up. Samsung even has their own App market for downloading apps. Push services for email and Facebook are no different from other Android powered device. What was a big disappointment was the absence of a preloaded GPS software app. Usually Samsung offers a Route 66 based app, but with a high-end device like the Galaxy S II not having it made a big difference. Camera

An 8 megapixel auto/touch focus camera with an LED flash and the ability to record videos in 1080p at 30fps makes the S II even more impressive. The phone does manage to offer quite a range of digi-cam-like features, including a range of scene modes, geotagging, face/smile and blink detection, white balance, beauty shot, auto stitch panorama, a timer, and a few color effects. The touch focus isn’t nearly as good as it is on HTC’s new devices, but on the whole, image quality was great. Details were clear and quite crisp for a mobile camera. Color reproduction was also quite vivid.

There was a bit of framing in the captured video, but not enough to bother most users. On the whole, the camera proved to be quite an asset for the S II with almost instantaneous activation when selected. Processing was also quite speedy, so you won’t miss those spontaneous moments. The S II also features a 2 megapixel fixed focus camera up front near the proximity sensor, just above the display. This camera can be used for taking self-portraits or for video calls. The quality of pictures from this camera is also quite decent for both video and images.

Battery

The 1650 mAh battery works out just fine for the Galaxy S II, clocking in at 6 hours of standalone talk time, which is quite impressive. The bottom line

The Galaxy S II, although officially available for Rs 32,890 (16 GB), is also available for about Rs 30,000. The fact that the device performs quite seamlessly and is priced rather reasonably impressed us. When compared to similar products like the LG Optimus 2X or the HTC Incredible S, the S II stands out. If ever the iPhone 4 had to seriously be worried, the Galaxy S II would be the one making it sweat. The one thing Samsung should do for the S II in terms of packaging is include a more cables to fill out the empty space in the premium pack. An adapter for USB (like Nokia’s) and a MHL cable would have been great.

While it may not have the elegance of the simplistic yet, classy user experience of the iPhone 4, it makes up for it with speed and just a tad more functionality. Of course, that will all change come iOS 5, but for now, if the iPhone 4 is too heavy for your wallet, the Galaxy S II is the next best thing and well worth the price tag.

You don’t need to lug around all your chargers when you’re heading out. We show you how you can make your own multi-charger using an old one.

When you’re packing before a business trip or holiday, you usually end up carrying along chargers for all your portable devices. But what if you find yourself in a situation where you only have a single power socket, where you can charge only one device at a time? For example, let’s pick a scenario where you own a Blackberry, your wife owns a Nokia phone, your son has his HTC phone, while your daughter has her iPod. Now, you only have a single power point to charge these devices, and everyone’s fighting to be the first to charge their device. What do you do in such a case? Wouldn’t it be nice if you could charge all the phones and iPods at the same time?

In this simple workshop, we will show you a concept on how you can convert any old mobile phone charger into a multi-device charger, which can charge more than one device at a time. All you need is an old charger (preferably a 1 A or a 1.2 A charger), a few mobile cables (depending on the mobile handset type), and some insulating tape. The mobile charging cables are easily available in the local market for Rs 10–25 each. Usually, these cables are convertors, which transform a basic Nokia mobile charger’s connector into the respective handset’s charging pin. Buy the ones you would need for the respective handsets.

To begin, cut off the cables leaving around six inches from the main handset connector end (not the end which connects to the charger). Strip each cable sleeve by a few centimeters and peal the insulating plastic which will reveal the copper wires within. Now, this is the tricky part—each cable would/should have a different color for each wire within the cable. Usually they would be red and black. The red would be the positive and the black would be the negative terminal. If you are not sure, or have different colors, you can use a multi-meter to find out the correct terminals. Peel the wires that come out from the charger too.

Once all the wires are stripped to reveal their cores, it is time to join all the red wires or positive terminals together. Do the same with all the negative terminals. You can simply twist all the exposed copper wires around each other. Once done, carefully and neatly seal each of these joints with insulating tape. That’s it. You now have a multi-charger in less than Rs 100. Try connecting them to the respective handsets and checking if they are charging. If not, you would need to check if the connections are correct and fix them wherever necessary. You can take some help from a friend who has a bit of electronics knowledge.

Note: Though you can charge multiple handsets with a single charger, the time of charging will depend on two factors—the power rating of the charger itself and the power requirement of the device being charged. For example, if your charger has an output power rating of 1 A, then you can either charge a single device which requires 1 A or two devices which require 500 mA. You can still charge up to three or four devices in this case, but the charging time will be longer than usual. Also note that this charger will be only valid for handheld devices that require 5 volts.

Check your equipment power ratings before you decide to undertake this workshop, and try this at your own risk.

Trap – to catch exceptions
Use loop labels to break to a certain loop

A basic script block is code inside {}. The for (as well as other loops) execute a script block

Rule #10: Avoid Regions - as they are typically used to hide ugly code or classes that've exploded in size or responsibility. Think if you should break the regions into seperate classes
Rule #9: Use exceptions for errors..instead of status code or booleans...but not for control flow
Rule #8: Avoid boolean parameters
Rule #7: Avoid too many parameters - beyond 4, consider grouping
Rule #6: Warnings are errors - Go to a Project's Properties and in the Build tab of the dialog box that opens up, change "Treat warnings as errors" to All from the default None

In its Events That Shaped The Wired World section, Wired magazine credits Scott Fahlman with first using the Smiley :-) & "Frowny" :-( emoticons in electronic messages.

On Sept. 19th, 1982, he had proposed on the computer-science department bulletin board at Carnegie Mellon University that the smiley be used as a joke marker & "frowny" to mark things that are NOT jokes.

Scott came up with the idea after reading “lengthy diatribes” from people on the message board who failed to get the joke or the sarcasm in a particular post.

HOW TO block images/image ads originating from a specific domain in Firefox 4 & above

Firefox 3.x used to have an option to block pesky images that were not part of the context of page that you were viewing - like image ads. You just had to right click on the image, & select "Block images from {domain serving the image}" to never see any images from that domain again. That context menu option is missing from Firefox 4 & above.

It turns out that it is still there but there are some additional steps to reach it. Right click on the image on the page you are viewing in Firefox & from the context menu, you have to select View Image Info & click on the checkbox "Block images from {site name}".

I'm surprised that such phone recording/tapping tools are easily available despite recording/tapping being illegal in several countries including India.

In the same technology section, ET gives Reliance 3G Tab a favorable review & 4 stars (out of 5). Reliance 3G Tab (Specs: 7-inch touchsceen,800 x 480 pixels,1.2Ghz processor,512MB RAM,4GB+microSD slot, 2MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM, accelerometer, Android 2.3, 380 g) sells for 12,990 INR.

The review points out three areas where the Reliance 3G Tab doesn't match up to something like the original 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab (P1000).

Firstly,the screen has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels the same as what a high-end smartphone offers and lower than the Galaxy's 1024 x 768.This means that the number of pixels per square inch (pixel density) is low.Secondly,the 800Mhz processor is a bit of a step down and it is noticeable at times with certain apps or when you scroll between screens too fast.Finally,the device is locked to the Reliance network,so you can't just use any SIM card you want.

In the end, they offer a nice suggestion -
If you'd rather not spend the extra,you can choose to buy the 3G Tab without a plan and pay just 12,999 upfront.You'll be using it just like a Wi-Fi tablet and later,you can opt for one of the discounted 3G advance rental or monthly plans.

Weather isn't a hot topic in India (as it is in the US) & forecasts aren't taken seriously.

Possibly to promote awareness, the Indian Meteorological Department has put out an ad in today's Times of India (with a glaring typo -Meteorological is misspelt as Meteorogical right at the beginning) to publicize the features if its site - IMD.GOV.IN

Besides a host of services & forecasts, the site publishes 3-day city forecast for 100 cities. Unfortunately, neither this nor the information from other weather forecasts are accessible as RSS feeds or through widgets as on the US National Weather Service website. As such, there is no easy means by which other websites or individuals can consume useful weather information.

There is a toll free number (1800 180 1717) to get city weather forecasts & observations but the site lacks services that have a "push" mechanism

A better designed site with interactive features (better maps, email alerts, easier accessibility on mobile phones) can boost the utility of India's official Weather tracking service by sharing its wealth of information among the general public.

Finding the image of a strip on the web that you remember reading in a Sunday newspaper may not be easy. Using a Print stylesheet is a more convenient way to generate a printer-friendly page than creating such a page through server-side coding. Tim Connell has a nice CSS tip in his article on things to note while coding a stylesheet meant for printer output.

At some point, you have probably found yourself reading a printed article when you get to an engrossing section that includes a link for more information. A link that sits there teasing you with its blue underline. Without a mouse or Apple’s latest interfacing doo-??hicky you have no chance of finding out where that link goes unless you return to the original article on screen.
The solution to unclickable links is an easy one to deploy. Use some CSS to print out the location of the link that would otherwise be hidden:

The viewport meta tag was originally designed by Apple to resize the layout viewport of a website, a requirement for the mobile device to understand how the website designer has defined how the content should be displayed to the end user. Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry and iPhone all support the viewport meta tag

Close to 3% of the top 10,000 sites use the viewport meta tag

Of the top 100 sites most visited on the internet, 71 of them have content specifically designed for mobile devices. The remaining 29 either do not support mobile devices or, depending on the device, prompt the user about a device specific application.

jQTouch is currently the most used mobile JavaScript library (38%) in the top million sites, shortly followed by JQuery Mobile (32%), both of which are extensions of JQuery, the most popular JavaScript library used on the web.

There are currently close to 400 videos on Google Webmaster Central YouTube channel featuring Matt Cutts who answers questions posted to the Webmaster Help Forum or to the Twitter handle @googlewmc. Occasionally, some Google secrets slip out in these videos. You can also pick up some tips & tricks on SEO by watching these typically 2-minute videos.If you are SEO inclined, the videos have some interesting titles that draw you to find out the answers. I track updates through their YouTube channel RSS feed. I sometimes wish the answer was part of the intro that comes with the feed so that I can find the answer immediately. For future reference, I plan to jot down summaries of these videos while I watch a few of them every week. Here goes the list -

If there's an official homepage for a product, it will rank very well & sometimes number one. Not every book or product has an home page. Amazon has a relatively good user experience in general and lots of links to it due to which it tops the result list.

If you really want Googlebot to see & follow, make sure that the important links are always on your root page.

* Can I tell Google about links to my site? (Apr 19, 2011)
Better let Google find the links. You can upload a sitemap which is a list of all URLs on your site but Google doesn't guarantee that uploading a sitemap will get all of your pages indexed.

* Can coding errors affect how a page is indexed? (asked on Apr 19, 2011)
Check the web page in a text browser or the popular browsers, if you can see the text. "If all that text is visible, then it should, for the most part, be able to be indexed by Google."

Google tries hard but is not perfect at identifying who is the original author of an article. To let Google index your original article faster before a deceptive site like a scraper, claims it is its own (by showing a manipulated timestamp), let the world know about it by, for example, tweeting about it or hook up thinks like Pub Subhubhub which will ping various places to asynchronously say that there's a new article or blog post.

Get more links. Google can index a page within seconds.

Not a lot. Having four or five keywords maybe good

Standard user (Users) - The standard account

can help protect your computer by preventing

users from making changes that affect everyone

who uses the computer, such as deleting files

that are required for the computer to work.

We recommend creating a standard account for

each user. When you are logged on to Windows

with a standard account, you can do almost

anything that you can do with an administrator

account, but if you want to do something that affects other users of the computer, such as installing

software or changing security settings, Windows might ask you with a UAC prompt to provide a

password for an administrator account.

The default administrator account that is created during the installation of Windows 7, or setup

already for you on a OEM (ex: Dell) computer, will have complete access to the computer and

can make any desired changes. To help make the computer more secure, this administrator

account may be asked with a UAC prompt to provide their password or confirmation before

making changes that affect other users.

The built-in Administrator account is an account that has full access and permission on the

computer, and will not be prompted by UAC.

This will show you how to enable or disable the built-in Administrator account in Windows 7.

NOTE

By default, the built-in administrator account is named Administrator, and is disabled.

WARNING

If you enable the built-in Administrator account, it is recommended to create a password for

it to help keep it secured.

OPTION ONE

Taking a screen shot (also known as a screen capture) is essentially having the computer take a picture of what is on the screen. Then right click on Open with Notepad and create another key, name it command.

Here is a few tips to speed up uTorrent Client. Similar can be implemented on any other torrent clients ,which you are using.

Step 1: Increase TCP connections

You need to increase the number of TCP connections that are allowed at max.Windows XP Service Pack 2 came with the number of allowed open connections to 10. This is to stop any piece of spyware(in our case bittorent client even) from totally taking over your internet connection. TCP connection allowed should be 50 for optimal performance. The best way to increase the maximum number of connections is to apply patch that is available at www.lvllord.de. A nice way to fix this is to download this patch .

The little tweak to the torrent client works great in certain times. If you’re using uTorrent go to Options menu then Preferences. In the Preferences go the Advanced Options. In the advanced options change the net.max_halfopen connections to 80. In the same section change the max half open tcp connections to 80. Once your done click on OK and you are all set. This tweak will let the maximum TCP connection available for the bittorrent client. Now start downloading you’ll realize a little difference in the download speed. Port forwarding technique is more effective than this.

A third point of interest is that some “windows updates” revert your tweaked tcp connections back to 10. So it’s wise to check this every now and then. You can check this by going to (in windows xp) Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer > System… Look for event 4226 (sort by event).
If there are a lot of daily occurrences it’s likely that the max amount of half-open tcp connections was set back to 10. Or you’re infected with some nasty spy ware…

Step 2:Torrent Client Configuration
In order to apply these tips you must know your maximum up- and download speed. You can test your bandwidth over here (stop all download activity while testing).

Settings 1-4 can be found in the options, settings or preference tab of most torrent clients.

1. Maximum upload speed

1.Try the password ‘12345’.It is default password for all Nokia phone security keyguard.
2.If it did not work try to regain password you changed and try entering by switch off –on your phone.
3.Finally just remind what you have done while locking keyguard. And use same method to unlock the phone e.g. If you are listening music through head phones and locked the phone then use same method. Connect headphone and enter the changed password to unlock. My case this was worked. Also other tricks are like while charging, Sim card removal and insert etc.

Then take battery out and wait a good 10 minutes this resets the code. Turn your phone on and repeat the same process above in the same order and wait 10 more minutes. Once turn it on it will ask for your security code. As you have followed the steps the code will now be to the default of ‘12345’ then enter your new code to change it.

If all the above did not work then contact retailer or Nokia help desk to get it unlocked.
